Good day! I'm finally able to show you guys my set for Luna Claire Collective's Fall/Winter 2015 lookbook. Well, part 1 at least :). So the bummer deal about trying to shoot a fall/winter lookbook is that you are usually shooting in the summer heat, but Alyssa and I decided to brave the summer and put her in winter knits. Alyssa and I have become very good friends through work, and we know how to bring out the best of each other's abilities. So, even through the 97 degree weather we got these amazing shots of Alyssa slowly sweating into a puddle, but you can't tell! She looks so bomb!
The company is based out of Boulder, Co. Alyssa introduced me to the ladies at Luna Claire and I cannot tell you how wonderful these women are. In a world of fast fashion this company focuses itself on being fashionably responsible. This a core component to their business. Instead of basing their workshops in places like India where laborers are often mistreated, they have located their workshops in Thailand. Thailand has an established standard set for wage, safety, and health. Luna Claire actually visits the locations several times a year to inspect them and make sure conditions are safe and comfortable.
To further brag about this company, the clothes are ridiculously comfy and convertible. I'm pretty sure every woman could agree that they want to feel as stylish as they are comfortable. Keep on the look out for Luna Claire part 2! I'll be giving you an inside look into our 2nd shoot!
If you guys were wondering about the jewelry at all you can find pieces at kitchies.etsy.com.
Till I write again.,
